Others have more information than I do, but I believe we all gather in front of what they call "Rocket Hall" (looks like an old Sears store). Lot 25 or 26 or something like that.

Arlen's? I think someone is showing their age.

The building was formerly an Arlen's no matter how old one is. Of course not everyone can say they shopped there :-D . My wife was a hostess at the Paladium which was in the base of the "L" that was the shape of the old shopping center. The Paladium was the old Roman Gardens before that and I ate there in 19(cough,cough). Sorry, as I was saying- I used to get in the Paladium for free- it was THE hot spot back in the day.

That section has been torn down for years. I usually park there because you can pull into Taco Bell on Secor and drive over their concrete bumpers and you're in the lot for free. Of course I've alerted campus security to watch for BG cars doing this which I wouldn't have done if SOMEONE hadn't implied that I was "old". Young punks today got no respect, mumble, mumble...

Can I get that "young punks" line on tape to play for my wife? She doesn't believe me when I tell her I'm young.

OK, since I only get up there once every two years....can you give specific directions?

BGFan and I had thought about not going to the game. Just didn't want to spend that kind of money after the disappointment of last Friday and the irritating aftermath that followed.... BUT, Major Falcon's brother (the ut grad) got us really cheap tix, so we will be there! We are going because we LOVE tailgating with our AZZ friends (and families...even if one of them is a ut alum #-o )! Life long friends that we have made because of AZZ, I might add!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Take 75 North to Rt. 23. North on Rt. 23 to I-475. Get off at Secor Road and turn south at the bottom of the ramp. Cross the world renowned Bancroft Street and go under the overpass. The lot you want is immediately to the east. After consuming too much food and too many adult beverages head northeast through the woods to the stadium (if you survive the trip through the woods-that''s usually where we get the visiting fans  ).

Pause for a moment if you will, and admire the beauty of one of America's truly spectacular campuses. I'm sure njo one will fess up to it but this is one gorgeous campus, especially around the Student Union Mall. Get there early and walk around. I'll be here and there but mostly at the Varsity T Pavilion. I wouldn't suggest stopping there. :-D

Seriously, Good Luck, Falcon Fans. I'll probably see both of you there- I'll be one of the ten on the home side! ;-)

H2O,
I, for one, think UT has some spectacular campus buildings...very prestine and impressive. Hate the Glass Bowl but that's to be expected. :-D

Take I-75 North to Rt. 23, then on to 475 North. Exit at Secor, heading South. Once it feels even remotely safe to come to a complete stop at a red light or stop sign, you've gone way, waaaaay too far.

:-D

Yeah, the two neighborhoods you'll be traveling through, Old Orchard and Ottawa Hills, are known for their high level of crime. Of course its all white collar crime and Buffy and Trent might occasionally cheat on their ACTs so they can go Harvard instead of Stanford but that's life in the gritty inner city.
Use extreme caution.
