Is that Gus Johnson from lovely Huron,OH?
The Falcons are hanging tough in the first half, but THE OSU has some nice gunners. Not impressed with their 7 footer. Otis is no slouch in the middle tonight! Taking care of the ball a bit better keeps us in this game and gives us a great chance to win!

Just got on here to write that. Not at all impressed with Mullens or Lauderdale, Buford is serious though.falconfan1999 wrote:Is that Gus Johnson from lovely Huron,OH?

Glad all of oyu who like us to cover aren't me. I have a few dollars on OSU -12.5...I think we can keep it close, but just see OSU pulling away in the final 8 minutes.
I'm okay losing that bet though, seems everytime i bet on BG i get burnt, and everytime against them, they win. If we get the W here, i'll take credit...

They played well for most of the game. A few less turnovers and a bit better free throw shooting and we win this game. I'm VERY encouraged by what I saw tonight! Coach Orr has the guys playing smart, under control and hard! We have TWO great basketball coaches in Coach Orr and Coach Miller!

I LOVE this team!!!
And I have to give Jim Jackson props too, I thought he and Gus Johnson did a fantastic job calling the game, and actually seemed to give BGSU some credit instead of just writing us off as a "sub major."
We were down 12 AT Ohio State and we fought back. We were in this game with a chance to win it near the end!
I think we still look a little timid with our shots inside... we need to go up strong the first time and quit with the head-fakes underneath. Go up strong, draw the foul. You get swatted, you go up stronger next time. Minnesota did the same thing to us.
OP looked like a man tonight!
We've proven we can play with the Big Ten on their home courts... now let's prove that we can DOMINATE the MAC and get to the Big Dance for the first time in 41 years!!

Hell of an effort and it was great to see BG weather the storm when OSU went up 13. OSU was favored to win by 13, fwiw. We just needed a couple more shots to fall, that's all.
THIS is gonna be a fun team all year. I'm definitely making the drive from Akron for a few games at AA and you know @Kent and @Akron are gimmes.
WAY TO PLAY HARD, FALCONS!!! ROLL ALONG>...
