Tell me you are joking????? OSU = OREGON State University, or if you don't like that option then there is always OKLAHOMA State University, and finally there is Ohio State University. I hope I am stating the obvious here...

[quote="cbjhack"]..They played well down the stretch after the Penn State game, unlike years past where they struggled in games, and also put butts in the seats.
And also put butts in the seats?
Last check, I've never seen a problem with attendance at Beaver Stadium or at Bowl Games. And, we've beaten an SEC team in a bowl game within the last 2 years
.
And also put butts in the seats?

So, tek, what are you saying? You'd rather play a Georgia team (lesser opponent) and FINALLY win a bowl game (to a lesser opponent)? Don't tell me you don't want to be in the Rose Bowl. And, whomever PSU plays, it will be an actual game worth watching, win or lose for PSU. Will PSU actually get "killed" by USC? Do tell, lord knows OSU has experience with it. How bad will PSU lose, and how should PSU go about it? Can "Tres" give JoePa some pointers on how to lose big?tekekini wrote:and then they lost to Iowa so what is your point? They are co-champs. They go to the Rose Bowl to get killed by USC. Congrats. I will take the Capital One Bowl and destroy Georgia.BGDrew wrote:I always hated the "Co" title attached to supposed champions. PSU and OSU had identical conference records. PSU won their game straight up, they're the champions.
Sounds like you're settling son. Capital One Bowl...I'm sure that's what all in Buckeye Nation were hoping for when this season began.

Reality is that every kid on that OSU team knows it's tainted. And, let's take a survey. I would be willing to bet that if you asked people, straight-up, who the best team in the Big Ten is...I'd like to see the poll results.bgsukid wrote:Really? Then why do they both get a trophy and rings? Obviously only one team can go to the Rose Bowl, but there are two champions, those are the rules, that's the reality.BGDrew wrote:My "point" is that the Rose Bowl is reserved for the Big 10 champion. It doesn't matter if you're in the Big 10 or C-USA: if you are not designated the champion through either a bowl game or conference championship game, you're not a champion.

Drew...thank you once again!BGDrew wrote:The last place team in tee-ball gets trophies too.bgsukid wrote:Really? Then why do they both get a trophy and rings? We? I hope you went to PSU. Luckily for Penn State they get those third or fourth place SEC teams and haven't had to play the SEC champion.San Fran Falcon wrote:And also put butts in the seats?Last check, I've never seen a problem with attendance at Beaver Stadium or at Bowl Games. +1. Another embarassing loss like OSU annually suffers would just serve to further tarnish the rep of the Big Whatever. And yes, OSU is the Co-Champ and I doubt that any of the players feel they didn't earn that. All the same there's probably some OSU players who are pretty happy they don't have to play in the Rose Bowl.

Actually what I am saying is that because of the dumb bowl game tie breaking rule (team who loses to unranked oponent should not be allowed in the BCS, OSU has not lost to unranked oponent) they get to go and get destroyed by USC.San Fran Falcon wrote:So, tek, what are you saying? Given the situation as stated above, I will take Georgia and destroy them. Might as well accomplish one thing and beat an SEC team so those f^&*$ers will shut up. The SEC team that everyone picked to be in the national title game no less.
Are you serious? I knew who he was talking about and flipped it because Ohio State is better than Oregon State...ask Penn State about it. No one wants to see that rematch. PSU only beat them by 50 last timeIt's the Journey... wrote:Tell me you are joking?????
