If I was actually there, I would probably feel a little different. But, I was stuck out here. Couple that with the fact that I was staring down the barrel of my first of three 12 hour shifts this weekend, a season of "coulda woulda shoulda", and a coach who doesn't 'get it' all left me somewhat jilted.

I was so proud wearing my BG gear last night and I don't understand why you that are just kind of happy with this win can't be more excited. Did you see the players with the Peace Pipe after the game? You'd think they did just win the MACC game. No matter what, this game is important to the players and I am damn proud that they went up to the Glass Bowl and shattered it for the first time in a long time!!!
Hell of a win! Carry it over to next year and WIN THE EAST!!!

I feel exactly the same way! It was fantastic to win up there! It was awesome to watch Corey catch that ball for the last touchdown! I felt so happy for those guys holding up the Peace Pipe trophy! What a way for the seniors to go out!!!VDub26Falcon wrote:Dynamite drop-in, Monty...thetruth1983 wrote:good win today for the football team

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I had wished I could go...but one of the stipulations of being hired at Best Buy was that we HAD to work Black Friday. And then when my friend texted me to let me know we had won (and after I read it 3 times to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me)...I was REALLY sad that I was dealing with all the crazies at Best Buy instead of at the Glass Bowl proudly wearing my orange and brown. Glad they ended the season on a high note.
Wait...since it was mandatory for me to work, am I a poor fan?

What do you mean, Strouse, the team was "Excellent this afternoon/evening?" They made the same dumb mistakes they've been making all year --- four (that's 4) turnovers and how many penalties??? They won inspite of their goofs because UT was totally inept, if not inert. UT had to be the weakest college team in the country yesterday. They wre a disastert.
