DJ DURKIN FOR HEAD COACH

Post by FalconLove329 »

GC says he wants someone with Ohio and BGSU connections..... .I nominate DJ for head coach. He grew up in Ohio, he played for BGSU, he coached already at BGSU-he's now special teams coordinator for Stanford and he recruits this area. You want a guy with passion, he's your man, you want someone who can gain respect from players, he's your man! DJ would be the right man for the job!

Okay Greg Christopher, DJ should be your number one prospect....I'm sure he fits all 15 characteristics that you have on your list.

DJ is a interesting choice. The dude's motor NEVER stops and he was a very solid player for BG. Knows the MAC, the midwest and has coaching experience. Does he have enough experience? I'd bring him in for an interview.

You can't find a better human being, a harder worker or someone who loves BGSU more than DJ Durkin.

He'd be a phenomenal pick...in about 10 years.

Maybe in 5? He's young...but has a very bright future.

I really like DJ. I have known him for years and he is a great guy. I really think it is best if BG went in another direction.

Could very well be, Freak. There's precedent for making a move like that with Pat Fitzgerald at Northwestern, although the circumstances were unique.

Joe,

It is hard to say...could be 5, 10 or 20. I think we need someone more seasoned at this time but I'd love to see DJ back as a coach in some capacity at BG.
