You know, I hope both of our sides can share these same sentiments:
Win or lose, we've made some good friends from this experience.
You Memphis fans are some great people. I am so happy that us Bowling Green fans can share this experience with you guys.

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan

I must say that this is awesome
It is nice to come somewhere and talk football with a group of people who respect their opponents...well except for UT...Bleeding Orange wrote:You know, I hope both of our sides can share these same sentiments:

Just trying to be nice to our new friends, TG. How long has your mind been in the gutter like this? You know it isn't healthy, right? 8)

We're fired up about playing against a great opponent. Y'all have a heck of an offense. Our coach, players and fans are aware of that and respect that.
We know we better play our best game of the season.
We're also excited to play in what the Orlando Sentinel says will be the 4th best bowl game of the season. They said it will be an "offensive orgy".
Best of luck to y'all and here's hoping we both play great and avoid injuries.

I am really looking forward to one of, if not THE best bowl games of the year. Two really good offenses, a city that cares about the bowl and two groups of good fans.....what more could you ask for? This is going to be fun.
Never thought that I would agree with someone that goes by "Bleeding Orange." No offense intended in any way to BGSU but in Memphis, Orange is a disease, not a color.

I am also thrilled with this game, two programs that I think are in the same situation, on the way up playing for respect. I can share the hatred of UT with the Memphis fans. Phil Fullmer is an idiot. The whole Cal situation this year and them missing out on the Rose Bowl because people changed their votes and moved Texas up started with Fullmer in 98.
Fullmer, upset with Manning not winning the Heisman to Charles Woodson, reportedly ranked undefeated #1 Michigan as low as 12th in the final poll opening the door for a shared title with Nebraska(and retiring Tom Osborne). The same Nebraska team who a couple of years earlier were unanimous champions over an undefeated Penn State team. Or so the report goes.
