Transfer, if you knew about last year at the MCBowl, that statement about the bottle would have a VERY different connotation....Jeff

Hence the reason we also have CLEAR water bottles now if you follow our drift transfer...

When I was a freshman in high school, our band took a trip to Myrtle Beach, which was at least a 10-12 hour bus ride, minus breakdowns. So this'll probably be nothing too much. Just gotta bring extra batteries for the CD player, a pillow, and lots of stuff to read for the trip! ^_^

And a blanket!!! I don't know about the rest of you guys' buses, but last year on the way back from the OSU trip, the flicc-trombone bus was SO COLD... and we were all in just our band shirts and shorts... not pleasant. It's not easy to go to sleep, no matter how tired you are, if you're shivering and covered in goosebumps. (We managed, of course. But I wouldn't want to try it again.)

Blankets are good. Euph/Clarinet/Mello bus was pretty cold last year too coming home from OSU. Of course when you have an attractive member of the opposite sex sharing a blanket with you, who is also using you as a pillow, it's not too hard to stay warm  Tired as I was though, I didn't sleep a wink from Troy to BG. Our bus driver decieded to give us a "treat" by showing Termanator 3 :coo-coo: Not a good movie to try and sleep through  Oh well. I am still really looking forward to my final Band trip (and it's a Bowl Game too, how sweet is that?? :supz: )

Speaking of movies, are there any request for movies for the bus?? Remember the buses DO NOT have DVD players, so that means VHS tapes (they still have those, wow...)

Finding Nemo!

"minemineminemine?!?!?" Too bad Cindy doesn't ride our bus :(

How about Hero? Is that out on VHS? I wanted to see it in the theater, but never got a chance to.

What kind of "attendance" will we see from the band? I'm assuming some members won't make it ... :?:

Well.... actually, there should be very few if any who won't make it. We only have two members (right?) who live far enough away that they regularly have to fly to school... and Dr H is working on getting them flights from home to Mobile. Haven't heard whether that's working out or not.

We kinda have to have pretty much everyone there, or we can't march a show. There would be too many holes in the forms. That's what happened to Miami (at the MACC) and Northwestern (at the MCB) last year... they didn't have enough members present to actually perform a show. We're WAY more dedicated than THEM.

So, no worries! You'll see all of us there! :D
