Welcome Coach Clawson! I gotta say..I am very excited about this hire. Reminds me a lot of when Meyer was brought in from ND. I sense great things are about to happen to BG football!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to GC also on a job well done!

Once again Mr Chrostopher comes through big time! Thank you for two great decisions these past few weeks.
Welcome Coach Clawson. All we ask is that is that you make us better than how you found us in your time here. (Which shouldn't be too hard) BTW Jed's Spots and the stuffed breadticks will be worth it.

Anyone else having trouble with the live feed?

Working fine here. Was redirected from the athletic site to the university site, then opened a .mov file in Quicktime.

It says "if this player doesn't work, click here". Click on that.

He looks good in orange.
And he has recruited Ohio... imagine that.

Thoughts on presser:
Yikes hope Evil Knavel writes great game notes cause he looked like he was about to crap his pants at the podium.
Clawson looks and feels like a fiery young coach, which is great. I like that he is not only excited to take the reigns on playcalling but excited to implement a "total package" football program .
It is also very comforting that he has learned from his previous experience creating a system and program as a "football ceo"- both positives and negatives.

As everyone else has said...
WELCOME TO THE NEST Coach Clawson!!!
I won't say whether or not this is a good hire until I see the produce on the field, but so far it seems to be a good hire
As Freak said...
1) Win the MAC Title
2) Beat Toledo
3) Beat Miami
Do those three things and you'll be golden here

With all of the other names that have been thrown round on this board the past couple weeks, I am so happy that we picked Clawson. Nice work Christopher.

Coach Clawson sounds like a great guy. I hope he and his family enjoy living in BG! I hope he likes hockey too!
