Ryan finally picked up on what I reported a few days ago.

Congrats to coach Brandon!!! I think the collective sphincters of ACC defensive coordinators just tightened up a tad... :-)

I thought offense, excitement and above-mediocre teams were illegal in the ACC.

Coach Brandon is in a much better situation IMO. I don’t care what kind of backlash I might get for making that statement either, I stand by it 100 percent. I’m a proud Falcon and that will never change. But after working a decade at the University of Virginia and living in Charlottesville the entire time, I wish someone would pay me a quarter of a million dollars to leave Ohio and offer me a job back in Charlottesville! Best of luck down there coach, and “Go ‘Hoos!”

Would have to agreed - Beautiful campus, beautiful town, and beautiful surrounding areas. I would spend every weekend driving around the countryside visiting great places like Monticello,Michie's Tavern, and Montpelier.

Good luck Coach Brandon and to your family as well!! I will miss your wife at the tailgates and the Women for Falcon Football events. She's a class act, all the way!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

And as I'm reading this I'm listening to Charlottsville resident Corey Harris'
"5x5 Live at Starr Hall" CD. Another great reason to go there.

Saw the coach out hopping from bar to bar downtown yesterday. He seemed fairly happy to have the job at Virginia. It seemed like he is very disappointed to be leaving town though.
Yeah right girl!

How's this for irony?

Their new wide receivers coach is rumored to be Latrell Scott, who's coached with Clawson at Tennessee and Richmond for the last few years.
