When you see a guy with "Shegos" on the back of his shirt skating around the ice, it means a call is very close to going against Bowling Green.

"The puck must proceed the Player!!"

Annoucer: "opposing team back at full strength"
Crowd: "That's debatable..."(I'll let Dad fill in the rest as he sees fit)

"Who's He?? NOBODY!!!!!"

As far as actual rules, put the puck in the other team's net, and beat the crap out of the other guy. Oh, and they give a stick with which to do it. The rest is reasonably trivial and you'll pick up as you watch the game with more experienced fans. I think watching the game with someone who is willing to explain what is going on is about the best way to learn hockey. It's a GREAT game. I love it. I honestly think I love it more than football.

Except that really, there isn't anymore to be filled in.

WHAT HE SAID!!!!
:supz:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
