FTFBG,
Pooch may be all the things that you have said, but please give the people examples.
ie: in 2005 when Donnie Morrison was the only Captain; which basically told Sitko, Falk, Dobek et al that they were not good enough to be C's or A's.
Tell how Donnie gave a nice Captain-like speech to the guys, and Pooch said to disregard what he had just said - because that was not "The Falcon Way". The story is also that before the NMU game Pooch called all the seniors into the conference room and yelled at the seniors for 20 minutes about no senior leadership. BG lost the Friday game - go figure.
Give examples, not rants

Why do we need to rehash all of this? It's been written, and written again. We all know.....

And if it doesn't stop, this thread will be locked. We all know how people feel. Trust me, MANY fans are VERY frustrated with a lot of things regarding the hockey program, but we will NOT keep rehashing this over and over on this forum with personal attacks.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Cepis is overrated, the major reason why he was successful last year was being on a good line, i.e. Whitmore setting him up a ton of times. He's way too cocky and a puckhog, and those tactics didn't work in the CCHA and won't work in the WCHA! Obviously we saw this past semester what the real cepis is like without a key linemate.

He may do well in Minnesota with the many high caliber players, on the other hand he may not play much with all of the talent on the team!

Bitter much?

Even if all that stuff is true, there is one truth that you can't move past. Without Cepis, we don't beat Lake Superior in the playoffs last year. He's a good player, and losing him sucks.

Well then he must have been playing on some pretty good lines in the USHL and with the Cleveland Barons as well, because he's been putting up good numbers for a long time heading into this year. Sure, he does carry the puck a lot, but you could say the same thing about Sexton and other players who are fast and can handle the puck. I'm not trying to say Cepis is some NHL bound superstar, but he has def. shown that he is a very good college player.

The same can be said of a lot of players. Matsumoto's numbers were way down after Falk left. One player doesn't make a good line.

Truth is he is a very good player, and is exciting to watch, I dont know if he will do much beyond college but he needs to do what ever it is that he feels will give him the best shot.

I don't remember them playing together much last year (the fact that we had TWO lines that could score was a big part of our modest success.) At any rate Whitmore only had 10 assists so I don't think you can say he set up anybody "a ton of times."

He should never be allowed to step behind a bench ever again.

The alumni are disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and just where the F is this coming from...my recent posts about needing to get rid of him and how he has had a fair chance to make it work and now even with his own players..it has not.
I am just surprised by the number of former players who whine and complain about how bad it was...looks like J.C is one of very to man up take a chance and leave for better orotundities armed with the knowledge about what they dont want.

he will, go but it will my in opinion be at the end of his contract. the university and not nearly enough alumni care about hockey for it go any other way.

Didn't Schmidt get most of the assists on Cepis's goals? And then Cepis set up Schmidt for his?
