Joyce and I'll be at BG for all four events....make that three for Joyce as she hates hockey..>Maybe I need Marta to educate/brainwash her...anyway, the Alumni Day Pizza party is scheduled between the women's game and the hockey game, so I'll have to "batch it" to see the weasels vs. the Falcons, then back to AA for the men's game.

One that not many people seem to have caught on to: after the falcons make a foul shot, there are two clashes from the drummer then a boom, and then we yell GO FALCONS!

After threes we all yell Y-E-S YES!

If the other team bricks a three ball or foul shot, we yell BRICK! BRICK! BRICK! I LOVE LAMP!
Yeah right girl!

also, with the foul shot cheer - if we make the pair (or in the odd occurence, all 3), after the click, click, boom - GO FALCONS! then we yell FALCONS - GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about the first students that show up all sit in the front row, then stand up when the game starts, so that more ppl will have to stand up, thus creating the much talked about "student section" :D

Since the whole section on the east side of the arena is general admission, there really isn't a student section. Standing up & jumping I think started on the east or west coast. Standing doesn't equal noise. Standing shows support. Sometimes it equals a bad seat for the people who also paid money to see the game. :) When the coaches raise their arms IMO they are asking for the crowd to get louder rather than stand up---but you'll need to ask them.
Thanks for new ideas with the cheers. 8-) Being upstairs we can't hear what you are shouting----will try to join in at the appropriate spot.
I'll stand & shout for a good play but stay in my seat so people can see over me---five feet tall so most people could see anyway.
The voice is known----just keep on being verbal ----postive please :D

Here's an even better idea. Let's have more students actually ATTEND the games.

Yeah, that too. I still can not understand for the life of me why a team as good as ours can't draw more students. Its ridiculous but I'm blue in the face talking about it anyway.
