"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Gotta wonder if the effects of Siggy's flu is catching up with him.

Sounds awfully familiar to the BG/UT football game....jumping out to a lead only to see the lead crumble in flames!

Maybe some of the guys who didn't dress tonight should tomorrow. This was terrible. First, we let them score 8 unanswered goals. Then, we let Siggy take the hit for all 8! I don't know what happened, but wow. I'm in disbelief here. Did we get up 3-0 and think we had it in the bag? Or (shudder) are the Weasels just that good? Hopefully we can get back on the horse tomorrow night in the Ice Arena. Bring everyone you can, we need to have all the support there possible.

I guess you could say the wheels fell off. In the second period, M just put traffic in front of the net, and shot through. After that, it seemed like we started to freelance, trying to make something happen, and got out of position. Many suspect penalty calls, but can't blame the outcome on that.
At least the ride home was short.
Other than the first period, the only neat thing was the First Annual Teddy Bear Toss.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

Oh yeah, well try having been there! I was sitting with my dad in the very last row of section three. We were going out of our gourds in the first period and that kind of pissed people off. It wasn't pretty the rest of the way...

Highlight of the night, though, was when the father sitting next to me asked his 12-year old daughter "What does BGSU stand for?" She replied: "Bowling Green Sucks A Lot!"

Ahhhh, Michigan fans....even their kids are retarded!

Also, this was my first game at Yost with the students there. I have to say I am ashamed of our fan base. We really are pathetic by comparison and should really be ashamed of ourselves. I don't want to hear any excuses, either becasue they will all be bullshit. I hate Michigan more than I hate France, but they definately have us beat in the hockey fan department. :(

Don't be ashamed of our fan base. Michigan has had year after year of successful hockey to watch. We have had a LONG, LONG, LOOOOOOOONG stretch of frustrating seasons. The kind of support they have is what we USED to have each and every game. That is what Paluch and his staff are working so hard to return to. We are headed in the right direction. And it IS GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN. I believe that with all my heart!!! This is the reason we need to get some decent organized cheers going and get the band on board with them, They can be key to all of it, if it's done right!!!

GO FALCONS!!
RETURN THE FAVOR TONIGHT AND STOMP THE WEASELS!!!
