Just wanted to give some props to my hometown. St. Paris Graham is a div 2 school about 30 miles north-east of Dayton. Our basketball team completed a 20-0 regular season last year, and advanced all the way to the final four, beating teams like Canal Winchester (BJ Mullens was on that team), Cincinnati Taft, and Dayton Dunbar. We finally lost to Toledo Libbey (oh the irony

) in the semi-final game. It was an amazing underdog story, I enjoyed every minute of that season. All these big schools overlooking us, and we stuck it to them. BJ Mullens took it the hardest, as he stormed off the court after fouling out
It was also great for our town, Saint Paris. Population 2000. We had a 30 car caravan going over to Columbus, and school was cancelled for the game

. We packed all the arenas we played in during the tourney, and the student support was amazing. It was a college like atmosphere. Just an amazing thing to witness.
This year, Graham has started out undefeated at 14-0, including wins over Future Academy of N.C, and Ripley from WV in the Flyin' to the hoop tourney.
Not sure what my point was in posting this but what can I say?
Im proud of my town.....and as Mr Candy said...."thats a damn rare thing these days"
