Oddly enough, I've been to Missouri (our last win vs. Pinkel's 1st team)...but never have been to Marshall...so it just might work out, unless Joyce wants to see St. Louis etc., to see "beautiful downtown Huntington" this year.

Definitely going to Missouri

Post by SB-50 »

Booked rooms at the Residence Inn - Columbia. This is right off exit 128 of I-70 and 5 miles from Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field. I'm guessing a noon kick, then on to St. Louis for Saturday night. If it's a night game, then I'll stay both nights in Columbia. Flying in/out of St. Louis (108 miles away).

Capacity is 68,349. They sold out all conference games and averaged 60,691 in non-conference games vs SE Missouri, Nevada and Buffalo. SEMO was a 6pm kick, but Buffalo and Nevada were both early kicks, 1pm and 11:30am respectively.

NOTE: USC @ Ohio St on Sept 12 also.

BCS GAMES

Post by SB-50 »

I get jacked for the BCS games, and it's great when we knock off one of these clowns. With that said, I want a MAC championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1992 was a long time ago, and only 1 MAC Championship game appearance is ridiculous.

LET'S GO FALCONS!!!!

We're planning as if we're going to Mizzou. Not saying we're officially going, but all signs point towards it. I don't know about anybody else, but I'm in the mood for a tiger skin coat :D

Have fun with that.....I certainly hope for a BG win. I don't want to get anywhere near Columbia. My other alma mater gets me in trouble in Columbia!!!
I love my birds! Go Falcons, Go Jayhawks!!!

I really REALLY want to go. Its about 9 hours out from here, but I for one think it would be well worth it.

Also, this is my 300th post :-D
