The defense wasn't that bad, on Saturday. Jimmy played well, but it isn't like he faced 3 on 1s all night.

I haven't seen anything posted in the blogosphere (my only source of info) about a goalie for next year. We need a couple more defensemen, too, unless they plan on rushing Miller straight out of midgets.

defencemen

from today's S-T:
http://www.sent-trib.com/index.php?opti ... Itemid=104

"The Falcons believe the addition of defensemen Ian Ruel and Robert Shea from the United States (Junior) Hockey League will help them become bigger and stronger around their net next season."

Shea, who is from Harrison Township, Mich., northeast of Detroit, has three goals and three assists and an on-ice rating of plus-14 in 29 games. He has 82 penalty minutes
That's a stat I like to see in a defenseman.

That takes care of replacing Schmidt and Sinkewich but we'll still need a couple depth guys. I'm really hoping for another offensive d-man to compliment Bailen.

Mike Miller has moved back up to junior A after rehabbing an injured elbow. He has joined the Brockville Braves of the Central Junior Hockey League. He's listed at 6'2", 205 lbs. and turns 18 this May.

Is Miller going to play for BG next year or wait until 2010?

As was mentioned earlier, maybe BG going to go with Greer, Eno, and a walk-on goalie for next year and bring in a goalie in 2010?

Heisenberg still has Miller listed as 2009 recruit. I'm dubious with so little junior experience but I really don't know anything in this case.

As far as the goalie situation goes I can't believe they would play Greer next year when he never saw any ice time while Eno was injured.
