FANTASY GAME for BG-Miami series

Post by Freddie »

Here's how it works: You choose FIVE skaters (3 forwards and 2 Dmen) from EITHER team (that's right, YOUR team can contain ANY combination of BG and Miami players...but there has to be 3 forwards and 2 d's).

Both team's TOP THREE SCORERS ARE INNELIGIBLE! Nobody can use them
(Carter, Cannone & Mercier from MU, Sexton, Svendson & Solway from BG).

You choose one set of FIVE for FRIDAY, and another set of FIVE for SATURDAY...and you can't use any of the same players on BOTH nights.

Any time one of your players earns a point (either a goal or an assist) you earn a point. Most points wins a SPECIAL PRIZE!

Results based on box scores as reported on USCHO, and all entries for BOTH nights need to be in before 6:30pm Friday.

IF YOU DON'T WANT OTHER PLAYERS TO SEE YOUR PICKS BEFORE THEY MAKE THEIRS, YOU CAN SEND THEM TO ME BY PRIVATE MESSAGE!

TIE-BREAKER= Total goals, both teams for the entire series (NOT including shootout...FYI: Shootout goals DON'T count in the points contest, either.)

Have Fun, Go BG!

I think Miami U. plays some form of this game on their message board. Although I'm of the belief that nothing that comes out of JCrew U is any good, I guess I'll play.

Friday
3 Forwards:
Jarod Palmer, Gary Steffes, Kai Kantola
2 Defensemen:
Will Weber, Nick Bailen

Saturday
3 Forwards:
Brian Kauffman, Andy Miele, James Perkin
2 Defensemen:
Chris Wideman, Kevin Schmidt

Good fun! Are we doing it again next week?

I can't really think of anything that would make it better, just different. Things like allowing one of the top 3 scorers, points for all players picked for the whole weekend, etc. Like I said it wouldn't really improve the game just make it different.

Thanks for the effort.
