Re: NIU/BG
Yes, if the men can follow up what the girls did, they'll be in good shape at 4-3 in conference, with some really terrible teams coming up the next two weeks. The guys really need at least 4 of these next 5 IMO if they are going to finish over .500 in conference, because that 2nd swing through the East Division is going to be ridiculously tough.drumstix2388 wrote:quite a thriller over on the girls' end...here's to a win for the men! going over .500 in the MAC and two games over overall is going to be huge i think

I'll take it. A good job of toughing out a win after NIU came back and tied it. Three in a row!
Oh, and Balls Tate beat OU today. Which is nice.

Nice road win for the falcon men, now lets build on that. Something odd though, box score says NIU had 3,215 in attendance. That can't be right. NIU horrible vs BG so-so at at best. If true than that's a little embarrassing that we can't get more than 1300 for a Mac leader OU at home.

They had a booster drive between games and tickets for the women's game were good for the men's game.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It was Scout Day at the Q~! The Freaklings got to skate on the Q ice, shoot hoops in the Cavs practice area and we saw a great hockey game won by Lake Erie, 3-1. And the attendance was over 12,000!Falcon Fanatic wrote:Taking your famiy to a hockey game....*sniff*.....It just warms my heart!!!Falconfreak90 wrote:Just got back from the Lake Erie Monsters game...great to hear the men and women won at NIU today!
Vdub,
Sorry about that! Mrs. Freak is going to ask if she can get the company loge for the 2/27 game. My BD is the 26th so that would be cool. Let me see if she can get the loge and a couple extra tix!
BTW, saw many BGSU shirts and hoodies...I represented. Sure there were tons of people wearing OSWHo shirts but BG was WELL represented. THAT warms my heart.
