Canisius in the Bracket Buster

Its not like we can magically get Duke or North Carolina to show up. First of all, we have to pay teams to come for non-conference, and good teams cost a lot of money. Second, good teams don't want to come here. You almost never see a great program playing a smaller program away because it hurts their RPI, they don't get ticket revenue for the game, and if they do lose, then they have another loss on their record when tournament time comes. Most prestigious programs load up on home cupcakes, and it takes a truely bold A.D. to get road games against a MAC school scheduled for non conference

Forget the game, the chances of us winning, and whether Canisius is actually a decent opponent...

Anyone have a figure on the odds of 24 actually not showing up?

I seem to remember a number of very angry boycotts going up in a poof of smoke in the past. I want to know what to expect for this game.

Obviously I would have wanted to see a better matchup here... but I'll make the best of it as hopefully it provides us with a "breather" before we swing back through the MAC East
