First off I want to say that I totally disagree with the cheers. They were vulgar, obsense and out of place. I did not like them.

A group of us went up to Yost Friday night and the string of profanities they reel off after every goal, penalty, big hit or just whenever the hell they feel like it were TEN TIMES WORSE! Even though this happened, they still had 2000 more fans in the building, granted they are all classless goons (players fans and coach alike.) I don't think the cheers said have as much to do with attendance as we think. A successful hockey team and an exciting environment will overshadow that.

I do want to say I miss the days when it was just "That's debatable" "HOOOOOO See ya!" and when we actually do the "One, Two We want more!" chants sans the explictives. Oh well. It's bad morally but not quite as bad for attendance as we might think.

That was the most exciting hockey game I've been to in some time. Place was packed and loud. Very tough loss for the team but they skated their butts off, were physical and didn't back down from UM. Would have been a very sweet win.

I'll say this... Michigan moves the puck better than any team I've seen in some time. The first period I was down with RC Ziggy by the glass and to see the game on that level is the best. UM is damn good.

The news about Jordan Sigalet is shocking and sad...he is truly an awesome goalie and, from what I've heard, an even better person. Jordan and his family are in our prayers.

On the fact that our student section (Section E) is loosing (or has no) class. We had quite a discussion on this topic last week.

I just hope the "new" group of students - wearing the orange t-shirts down by the glass were not starting/reinforcing these chants. They appear to be a new group with a lot of energy...

Oh, and the new "You $uck" chant when the opponents are taking/leaving the ice...now that's creative!

"YOUR TEAM IS INFERIOR!" Doesn't have quite the same ring to it....

I didn't agree with the F- Montoya chants, but I'd rather have fans screaming than sitting on their hands. Don't be surprised if Krebs puts a statement out over break.

I guess if you wanted to argue, it's hockey, not golf.
