I checked the stats page. It's official - six empty netters. Any idea how many goals we've scored with our goalie pulled?Freddie wrote:UGG!
By my unofficial count, that's 6 empy net goals against us this year

I read the first page and was about to ask when it ever stopped?murphdogg wrote:I think there has been one. Its called "every single topic in this forum"Falconfreak90 wrote:Damn...disappointing to say the least. When does the "Fire Paluch" thread start?
This sucks. The fundamentals are there, but this program needs a new leader. Period. If a coach were brought in that was competent not only on the ice, but who understood the history of the program and is willing to work actively with the alumni and the fan base, there is so much potential here, and I don't think it would be as hard as some of us think it might be. People are hungry for the return of Falcon hockey in Bowling Green, we have a great AD, and the right coach could make it happen. I have no doubt about that.

You are correct. The ENG @ PC cut their lead from 4-2 to 4-3. The ENG against tOSU tied the score, but we lost in OT.rood wrote:Both of which we lost anyway.Freddie wrote:TWO. Before anyone starts to think that I'm opposed to the concept of pulling the goalie in favor of the extra attacker...I'm NOT. I'm just plain tired of always being behind, and thereby forced to pull him. I'm also frustrated by the fact that there doesn't seem to be any real plan for what we are going to do with that extra attacker once he gets on the ice.

No he not. I really don't think he's ever been quite right!Tech83 wrote:Just love giving the boy a rough time.... Matt's alright.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Can we pull the coach in favor of the extra goalie?
