Last year, Bowling Green went 6-6. The season started off well with a win at Pitt and a Pontiac Game-Changing Performance nomination for Tyler Sheehan on a 13 yard TD run. We had a huge crowd at the home opener against Minnesota (My least favorite team ever, even beating Toledo), but sadly we lost. We lost at Boise State as well, but kept it very close. In a game against eventual MAC champion Buffalo, we dropped a 20 point 4th quarter lead with the conference title on the line and lost in double OT. I was at that game in 15 degree weather with no coat on.Trojan Delta Chi wrote:thanks for the props guys. i'm afraid i don't know much about Bowling Green. i'm interested in your program though. i'm a mid-major guy, and I'm a big fan of the MAC. Hopefully I'll know more about your Falcons before kick off. I might try and make it up to the game.
In terms of recent history, we were formerly coached by current Florida coach Urban Meyer, had a Heisman contender in Omar Jacobs, and hosted College Gameday against Northern Illinois.
Make sure to stop at tailgates. In terms of mid majors, I have never seen (or tasted) better.
