2/7 BG at Central Michigan
Bowling Green goes for their 5th straight win in Mount Un-Pleasant this Saturday. It's been a long time since we've had 5 straight MAC wins, and we've NEVER been more than 2 games over .500 in the MAC at any time of any season since 2005. Big game.
I'm not sure what to expect here, but BG has played much better on the road the last few weeks, so its very possible we could win this one.

24. Quality provider of the truth, for better or for worse.
BG @CMU
This team is certainly beatable, although they did just play @Buffalo down to the wire. They have a good three point shooting team with Blitzer and Harman, both guys are capable of catching fire from deep. Marcus Van is their only decent threat inside after losing leading scorer Chris Kellerman to an injury last month. This is a game we should win if we want to keep pace with the other East teams who are beating up on the West, sans OU.

Hey h2oville rocket---what's wrong with those Rockets. Four solid starters back from last year's team that beat BG in Cleveland last year. Sorry...just saw your post and it made me think of the Rockets and how they are getting drilled on Fox Ohio right now? Tyrone Kent and Amos are studs aren't they? Just wondering.

Major conflicts with new coach and new system- hard to say if its ultimately for the good or not. Amos' role in particular has changed- under STan he kind of roamed around and stirred things up on defense, got a ton of steals and a ton of TOs and that was OK. Cross system is pretty rigid and so is he. He and Amos have at loggerheads all year and Amos was suspended for a couple games for refusing to comply with instructions, I guess.cowboyjoe wrote:Hey h2oville rocket---what's wrong with those Rockets. Kent wears two or three guys at all times since no one else can score- he was doubled twenty feet from the hole all day today. Anyinjong is the most improved player, maybe in the league but no one else can score. We shut Bramos down and Miami shot 36% and 28 from three. They outboarded us by 18. That was the whole story.
We got a couple OK frosh for a late recruiting start: Salter, a 6'10" guy from Ca looked good early but has hit a wall of late and Taylor, 6'9" from Oregon, has looked very good in limited minutes. We have a Frosh PG who is learning on the job- our turnovers are way down since he's started but he can't score so everybody collapses on Kent.

Mt. Un-Pleasant must only be for football because their students were not bad at all on this night. They just stood there and really did nothing besides chants, cheers, and the occasion OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH when we had the ball. Western's band was far worsebgsufalcon24 wrote:Bowling Green goes for their 5th straight win in Mount Un-Pleasant this Saturday.
