Harris' headed for Cleveland!! (by Tami)

Post by Luvmy5 »

Hey everyone! Time for yet another update. As you've probably guessed from the subject...Josh is officially a Cleveland Brown! We closed the deal with Cleveland this evening and Josh will be going there first thing tomorrow (Tues.) morning. He was offered a roster position this afternoon and will actually be the backup QB in this Sunday's game (so look for him on TV) :) Besides God's looking out for us, this whole opportunity arose b/c both Jeff Garcia and Kelly Holcomb are hurt, which leaves only one QB: Luke McCown.....Enter, the Harris family.
I thought you all would get a kick out of this since so many of you are Browns fans! I guess we just couldn't get away from the orange and brown! :) Please keep Josh and I in your prayers this week. It's going to be a crazy one!
As far as the rest of our life goes, the pregnancy is going well and we find out the sex of the baby on the 21st (which I will post after Christmas). Josh is super excited about the baby and talks to "it" through my belly button as if it's a microphone....It is hilarious!
Well, I won't bore you all with a bunch of baby news....We'll be in touch!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(As much as I'd like to say this is happiness for Josh, cause it really is... it means the rumors of Tim Couch being signed are totally false!!!)

Thanks so much for the news, Tami, hopefully (and I believe it will be true) Josh will fit in well in Cleveland, and for the long term. I'm sure the grandparents-to-be are thrilled to have Josh closer to home as well.

Best of luck with everything, and feel free to "bore us" with "unborn super-athlete" news anytime!!!

Terrific news!

With the quarterback situation in Cleveland, it sure looks like Josh will have a job for at least the rest of the season. I'm confident he'll impress enough to stick around for a long time.

I've never been a Browns fan, but I can't help but cheer for them now.

Good luck in Cleveland, and with the little one!

Holy crap.....so excited.....can't feel legs....don't care....

UNFALCONBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! I always hoped that this day would come but I never thought it would!!!

Tami, congratulations! I'll be praying for both of you (and your new addition!) this week. All Josh needed was a chance and now he's got it!

Now, if only that slug Garcia would give him no. 5. Hmm....

That is GREAT news...I remember the ultrasound of our daughter at 6 months. I swear she turned he head to look at what was pressing in on her.

If it hasn't happened already, Josh is in for the suprise/thrill of a lifetime when the baby kicks back at his voice--I thought my head was going to explode when our Laurel did that to me.

Going to the Browns is a great opportunity for Josh to show his stuff. I know he'll do well.

I am a huge Browns fan and this news is probably the only reason why I will watch the game on Sunday. I hate to say it, but I hope Luke McCown either gets a stomach bug or temporarily injured so that J5 can get some PT! Even if Josh goes 2 for 8 and 20 yards, he'll probably have better #s than McCown. Best of luck!! What number will Josh be since 5 is taken by the washed-up old man Garcia?

What wonderful news for all of us Browns fans and especially JOSH HARRIS fans. Best of luck to you and we will be watching intently.

Also you can tell us baby news anytime. Many of us are parents and it brings a smile to our faces to remember those precious times.

Take care and God Bless.

In case anyone is from Cleveland or wants to sit in the snow (44 degrees forecasted, though), there are plenty of good seats available at very low prices on ebay. Go Josh!!
