BG vs. Ferris: Friday Heartbreak

Post by Falcon Frenzy »

Another close game slips away from us. I was sitting close to Ferris State's goal as the third period's final seconds ticked away. We were SO close to tying the game! The puck was RIGHT THERE.

What a bummer!

By an inch or by a mile it really doesn't matter anymore. We stink.

I'm over this team. As far as I'm concerned, the hockey season is over. Fire Paluch, and let's restore some respectability to the program in 2010.

I agree. The game tonight was filled with lots of close calls and shots that didn't go our way. Bad teams find ways to lose and that was certainly true tonight.

I am still going to keep following them because I love college hockey, though I have to admit it has been painful of late.

Game winning goal goes in off Krelove's face. When was the last time we had a bounce like that go our way?

As for being close at the end, 45 seconds to a minute is a long shift at the end of the game. A 2 minute shift is attempted murder.

I think one of the main reasons why we lost tonight was the lack of spark (especially in the first period). BG only started really playing in the 3rd period. to make the loss even more painful Mich State and Western Mich. both won tonight. :(

Alright, we've heard you say it. Thanks for your input. From now on we'll just assume your opinion is "BOOOOO PALUCH! HOCKEY STINKS!"
