Yesterday, just before the Women's game, I stopped in to visit the Archives room. I asked Mickey Cochran if they were going to have a new place for "his stuff" in the new Stroh Center. He told me to check out the Sunday Blade, as he was on the front page, answering that very question! He is SOOOO excited about this!!! I am so thankful for Mickey's efforts to preserve the items from BGSU's sports history!! Thank you Mickey!!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Thanks for posting that FF! I meant to all day yesterday, but felt like azz and didn't get around to putting it up here.

Mickey rocks. I can't wait to see what he's able to do with more space and building it from the ground up. Don't forget that the late Don Cunningham did a ton of work to help him with the archives before he passed away, but Mickey has done a great job with upkeep!

And again, if you have any used mannequins laying around, I think he's interested in them.

There was also a story about Scott Hamilton and Winterfest this weekend.
