Post by Flipper »

Threatt is xferring from the Uof M (they have two **** QB's coming in who can run the spread..one enrolled in January) Since there's no 1AA programs in the state, could former U of M assistant Ron English convince him to give up another year to play for the Hur...whateverthehellthey'recallednowadays?

There has also been some talk of him going to North Dakota State, but I believe since he has already transfered from Ga Tech to Michigan he would have to sit out a year wherever he goes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm all for this. He's a great kid who's not going to get much playing time anymore. Forcier should be the starter by the end of the season and Robinson doesn't look too bad either.

Only if he goes to another division I-A school. I think it was Brandon Ore who was so good at Va. Tech and then got kicked out so he went to a I-AA school, and then a D-II school so he didn't have to sit out any. I would assume that Threet will probably go to a I-AA school so he doesn't have to sit out another year, yet he'll still have a shot at playing at the next level.
