Lose to the last place at home, then follow it up with a win over the first place team on the road! Go figure! This was also BG's fifth consecutive win on the road! GREAT job Falcons! I sure as hell hope we can carry these type of results away from Anderson Arena over the The Q on a neutral court in a few weeks!
GO BG!!!

Awesome win tonight! I was able to catch the second half on the radio, and the final few minutes on the UB video feed once I found the link here. It sounded, and looked, like we were playing some great defense tonight, and BMo was absolutely on fire from outside the arc.
I don't know what the hell happened against EMU (maybe they were just hot that night - it happens), but we have been playing more like we did tonight against the Bulls for most of the second half. If the guys can keep this up and maintain their focus, then I can very easily see BG earning a bye in the first round. Saturday vs. Kent is going to be a huge, huge test, though. A win there and we have a leg up on one of those spots.
Anyone who was ready to give up on this team after the EMU game should be duly, and publicly ridiculed.

Seriously! Especially since we're scheduled to play Canisius that day.Bleeding Orange wrote:Saturday vs. Kent is going to be a huge, huge test, though.

I was thinking about our next conference game, of course. Which is next Thursday. And on TV. Which is nice.

Go ahead, let me have it. I got sucked back into believing before the EMU game, then they pulled me back. I'm still not sold. We've made some great strides this season, but.... I just don't see it happening this season.Bleeding Orange wrote:Awesome win tonight!

Nice road win though. Canicius should be a lay-up being at home and all, right?
