For All The People Who Complain About Attendance

Post by murphdogg »

There were a grand total of 530 fans at the game in Buffalo last night, and I would be willing to wager that there were quite a few BG fans there last night. Just remember this when you complain about BG's fan support: It could be so much worse.

Not a fair comparison.

Going into last night's game:
Bowling Green record - 23-2
Buffalo record - 5-20

If we were 5-20, I doubt we'd have even 500 fans in the stands.

I doubt that they normally get 500 fans either....but they were playing a top 25 team, so i'm sure that increased their "attendance" a little. I've never complained about our women's attendance. In fact I've always been really impressed with the crowds we get for them. They're loud and supportive and give us a huge home-court advantage

I was one of them :-D

Though I think this would have been a better thing to look at if it was a men's game, since those seem to be where most of the attendence issues are around here. Now standing thats a different story, since that always seems to be brought up here by Mr. Xtreme, we have them beat when it comes to standing, they had 5 students standing (their band didn't even stand during play, I found that to be weird)
