I am going to chalk up this loss to a very bad shooting night. They relied too much on the three when they clearly didn't have the touch out there tonight. I realize that Miami was playing a zone, and that usually forces more outside shots, you can get to the basket with good, quick ball movement. I have been listened to the last three or four games now, and they have been playing with fire every game. I don't know if it's a lack of focus from these young girls and knowing that they are already in a postseason game, or them just hitting a wall. I don't really buy the wall comment that much, because most of the kids have been through at least one college season now. They know what to expect. I am willing to bet that it is a lack of focus. I would imagine that Coach Miller will have them focused by the time practice is finished tomorrow.

I am convinced after hearing all of the missed free throws that it is a lack of focus. A team like BG doesn't miss that many free throws in a game when they are focused.

Well, it had to happen sooner or later, I guess - I'm just worried about our ability to score going into the tournament. Things have seemed to have been dwindling in that department of late.

Either way, they should be able to regroup after this game, and I doubt we'll see a BG team shoot this poorly for a long, long time.

Three point deficit now...uh oh...

Eh, could have easily been NIU, WMU or Buffalo. It sucks to see BG lose...but we shot the ball like complete dog crap....just not like BG at all.

Still, 25-3, 14-1 MAC, Conf Champs AGAIN.
