i don't have to think twice about going, i'll be theretiznow wrote:Is anyone making the trip? It is a short drive from Indy. I am 50/50. The local BG alumni meets that night for drinks, so if it does get picked up, I will probably stay.
3/5 at Miami
Trust me, nobody wins in "The OX." Other than J Crew, I suppose.redskins4ever wrote:You can't win in the OX!!!

Charlie Coles is great. He loves Miami and he loves the MAC. He does a wonderful job. I listen to the Miami games and the coaches shows because I like listening to Charlie. The MAC will lose a good man when he finally retires. That being said, I hope he gets his tail whooped when BG comes to town.
It's hard to imagine a lamer facility than Millett hall though. It's a warm theatre where no one is really interested in the performance.
Go BG! I'll try to be there. look for me, I'll be wearing BG stuff and going to Mac & Joes or Bruno's after the game.

I'll give you that. We average some 2,000 fans per game, and they are the loudest when the cheerleaders are giving away free pizzas or mini basketballs. I swear I'm going to start walking back and forth with an empty pizza box in order to get people fired up.RobbyFalcon wrote: It's hard to imagine a lamer facility than Millett hall though. I like Millett, but of course I'm partial. Yeah, it's movie-theateresque, but to me it will always be home, lol. The only other MAC arean's I've ever been to is Worthen Arena out in Muncie, the M.A.C. Center in Kent, and the new Savage Arena up in Toledo. BSU's and UT's are pretty nice IMO, but I wasn't too impressed with Kent. From what I've seen of Anderson it kind of has a HS feel, but I've seen the designs of your new place and think it looks like it might be pretty cool.

At least we've moved on to complaining about attendance at other schoolsRobbyFalcon wrote:It's hard to imagine a lamer facility than Millett hall though. It's a warm theatre where no one is really interested in the performance.

I will give them credit for installing FielfTurf. Still not an ideal facility, but what a mess when it would rain before the FT!redskins4ever wrote:Well if I had to select BG's Doyt or Miami's Millett... yes I know they aren't the same type of facility... I'll take Miami's Millett every day that ends in Y.

This is going to be a very tough game. Both teams are playing for the No. 1 tournament seed with wins tonight and Sunday. We are currently 8 point underdogs, but we were 11 point underdogs against Akron and we all know that outcome.FMBfan07 wrote:Come on BG let's get a win at Miami! women didn't do it, so the men need to do it!
Go Falcons!!!
I can respect you as long as you stay out of CJ'sRobbyFalcon wrote: Go BG! I'll try to be there. look for me, I'll be wearing BG stuff and going to Mac & Joes or Bruno's after the game.
Ahhh.... all you can eat Spag night at Bruno's....
I wouldn't mind going to the game myself.... just have to see how I feel at the end of a long day.
