Just for fun...
I noticed on the football stadium picture there was trees all around the outside of the stadium. I think that would be a great idea (albeit not a brick wall like some have mentioned here, but at least something.) Wonder why that never happened?

When I was little, I always wondered what secret that bird knew about. He's just got a knowing and menacing grin on his beak...BGDrew wrote:<------With the correct background color if you want it. I took the original picture from TG so all credit goes to him.
I always kind of thought it was a corny image, but now I see it in a different light and really like it!!

This "flying falcon" logo is pretty old. I was a student from 1952 until 1956 and this bird was featured on jackets we could buy at the bookstore. Think it appeared on some T-shirts also but I'm not sure. Of course I wore my jacket out years ago and threw it away. Wish I had it now.Flipper wrote:This is one of my favorites. I have no idea of the era or how widely used it was. Some may think it's derivative of Bucky Badger. I say how can anyone take the concerns of a entity called "Bucky Badger" seriously.

Dayon,
Where's the stick? Do you take requests? Can I have it with the stick so I can do away with my puck?

Wow..TG and Dayon, great job cleaning up my walking "Bucky " Falcon photo. The pic I posted is actually a snapshot of an old pennant I found (where else?) on Ebay taken at fine resolution on my digital camera.
I bought a bootleg copy of photoshop 7 for $30 bucks a couple of years ago (some guy sent me an e-mail and said he sell it for that--it actually worked!) I have never had the patience to sit down and figure out how to really use it creatively.

the erasing is a pretty easy part. that magic wand in the tool bar does wonders!!! Since I think they've come out with a Photoshop 8 now, you might be able to scour the bookshelves at a CompUSA-type store for tutorial books for Photoshop 7. I know when I got my copy of Photoshop 5.5 a few years ago, it was "old" enough that I got a 400 or so page "how to" book for five bucks or so. Granted, I haven't gone through it yet, but its there if I need it!
