I noticed on the football stadium picture there was trees all around the outside of the stadium. I think that would be a great idea (albeit not a brick wall like some have mentioned here, but at least something.) Wonder why that never happened?

When I was little, I always wondered what secret that bird knew about. He's just got a knowing and menacing grin on his beak...

I always kind of thought it was a corny image, but now I see it in a different light and really like it!!

My dad's best friend who graduated from BGSU in 65 or so went on to The University of Iowa for graduate school.

On the back of his car he had that Falcon image with BGSU underneath and the very same image in black and gold with Iowa under it. . .heheh

This "flying falcon" logo is pretty old. I was a student from 1952 until 1956 and this bird was featured on jackets we could buy at the bookstore. Think it appeared on some T-shirts also but I'm not sure. Of course I wore my jacket out years ago and threw it away. Wish I had it now.

I love the flying FALCON logo too. I think it would look great on the football helmets...

TG looks sharp.

I also remember that "walking" falcon carrying a hockey stick. . .

I cleaned it up to and resized it for use as an avatar- it is available at my avatar website by clickign on my banner below. I left the insides an off white to give it that "throwback" look.....

Dayon,
Where's the stick? Do you take requests? Can I have it with the stick so I can do away with my puck?

Yes I certainly do take requests!! Be sure to visit my site with other banners and such. . .

I will work on putting a stick in there as soon as I can and let you know.

Would I have met you on the Falcon Club bus trip to Miami in 2003 for the football game??

Wow..TG and Dayon, great job cleaning up my walking "Bucky " Falcon photo. The pic I posted is actually a snapshot of an old pennant I found (where else?) on Ebay taken at fine resolution on my digital camera.

I bought a bootleg copy of photoshop 7 for $30 bucks a couple of years ago (some guy sent me an e-mail and said he sell it for that--it actually worked!) I have never had the patience to sit down and figure out how to really use it creatively.

Flip...
the erasing is a pretty easy part. that magic wand in the tool bar does wonders!!! Since I think they've come out with a Photoshop 8 now, you might be able to scour the bookshelves at a CompUSA-type store for tutorial books for Photoshop 7. I know when I got my copy of Photoshop 5.5 a few years ago, it was "old" enough that I got a 400 or so page "how to" book for five bucks or so. Granted, I haven't gone through it yet, but its there if I need it!
