I just got back from the game. The old OSU ice arena is very small but it has been renovated for sure. This was actually the best hockey game I have seen in quite some time. I really believe we could have won the game and showed great heart. We gave up a silly defensive turnover in the 3rd period to go down 4-2 and I thought it was over but we came roaring back. Should have been 4-4 but we had a goal waved off. This OSU team is very beatable. Their goaltender was very shaky. Very exciting stuff but ultimately very disappointing not to get something out of this game. A real good BGSU contingent present including our AD and some other athletic administrative staff.

I was at the OSU v Miami game last week where the OSU goalie let in 7 without being pulled. If we can get going and score early, he'll lose confidence quickly and becomes a wreck in the net.

I never thought I would miss the Dink, but it was a real fun game in there.

Bottom line, BGSU lost 5-4. Hope the AD made note of the strong road following when he considers coaching issues.

Could you see through the glass?
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Must have replaced it since the last time I was there. It was SOOOO badly scratched, you couldn't see anything if you were looking down toward the far end of the ice.

GOOD LUCK TONIGHT FALCONS!!
JUST WIN!!!!

It's nice that they could scrape together some money in their athletic budget to replace it.

It would be nice if they could come up with a couple of bucks to get some hardware that would keep the net from moving anytime anybody breathes near it.

The 5 years or so of duct tape holding the net moorings together isn't enough?
