Whoops...make that 5-1. End of the 2nd...this could get ugly as it sounds like the team has mailed it in.

Make the change.....PLEASE.

Final: 5-4.

Last place finish plus being swept out of post season by the Institute for Moral Relativism. When I was in school, the present state of affairs could not even be imagined. Now, it's commonplace and it MUST stop now.

Bye Pooch.

Wow. You watched a better game than I. The one I had was a 7-1 loss.

Ugly, it was.
I didn't watch the fight.

Ohio State fans are insufferable.

Damn. I somehow got linked into the Friday night's score. 7-1 loss gives my statements more credence. If no change is made, I wonder if the rumors are truly false - regardless of the verification I've received.

You didn't WATCH it either....you LISTENED to it!! :-D

But I do wish I'd seen that fight!!! Got totally hosed by the ref on that one!! We get 3 kicked out (2 that will have to serve their DQ in the first game in the fall), they get 2 kicked out. We get a 5 minute major (Schmidt) and 2 minute minor (Spratt).....and OSU GETS NO PENALTIES!!!!!!!!!!! And the two players who were going at it (Bailen and a schmuck) get no penalties at all! Unfreakin' believable....just unbelievable......

The only enjoyable thing tonight was seeing that the egg suckers are done too!! Wonder when the last time that happened to the spartans????

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Looks like BGSU should have made a coaching change at mid season. I lot has changed with Bylsma interim head coach in the NHL and Reirden interim head coach in the AHL. If Bylsma gets the full head coach job at Pittsburgh this off season, the first person he'll call is Reirden for one of the assistant coachs. Don't think Reirden will come back to BG then or even now beings he's interim head coach in the AHL.

84W-156L-23T in seven long years. Paluch has got to go!!

Actually, I barely listened.

But the fight reminded me of Kevin Lune at the Fairgrounds in '95 or so. (Which I think I've recalled at least three times here before.) The penalty situation after the one tonight needs some 'splainin, though.

low point of the game...down 6-1 about half way thru the 3rd period, and the OSU fans were chanting "You've stopped trying.....You've stopped trying". Much as it pains me, they were right. The game was over at 4-1.

Yep, I was there and the "you've stopped trying" chant was just plain sad but true. We sucked tonight. Again a great turnout of BGSU folks just waiting for something to cheer. Hopefully this is as low as we go.
