BSU got the 2 seed, we play the winner of WMU and (teehee) OU in the second round, then Miami(OH)/Akron/Toledo if we advance.
I think the 1 seed may have actually given us a tougher road, but screw it... MAC CHAMPS!!!!

Yeah, in hindsight, we played one of our worst offensive games in a long time and took them to OT at their place. Avoiding Kent St. is huge, IMO, the #1 seed is a good deal - for more than the obvious reasons.ZuluWarrior wrote:I do like avoiding Buffalo and/or Kent until the finals. Buff because of the beat twice thing mentioned above and Kent because they're Kent. Miami game could be another nailbiter. Should be fun.
This is still too unreal. Three more wins!!!

I can't wait to get a chance to beat OU and Buffalo again. That whole 'already beat a team twice, can't beat them three times' is crap. We've already established the mental advantage that we are the better team. They (OU and Buffalo) have to deal with that aspect.

Tickets
I've never been in Cleveland after the first round (for obvious reasons).
How easy is it to go get tickets on the streets for pretty cheap?
I can find first session games all over craigslist or ebay for 5 dollars a ticket, but nothing listed for the Thursday games.
I'm not 100% sure if I'll be able to make it into Cleve by 7 on TH so I don't want to commit the $20 to the BG ticket office and not be able to make it. But I don't want to spend 49 dollars at the door.
Just wondering if anyone else has been there and been able to get tickets on the street fairly easily.

Re: getting tix per se won't be a major problem, but I hate like heck to pay an EXTRA $2 for a "handling" charge, when all they do is reach over, pull tix off the stack and "hand" them to you.
As to Scalpers, never noticed any for the early rounds...doubt that you'd get a deal anyway... Not sure if they're still going to do it this year, but in prior years, TWO five packs of Kraft Mac and Cheese got you into the ladies championship free.
I'm going to order tix probably tomorrow thru OUR ticket office, as long as THEY don't try to add fees to them.

Yes, we have a mental advantage, but another re-match with OU does concern me a bit. We just humiliated them, and they'll be wanting some payback.Warthog wrote:I can't wait to get a chance to beat OU and Buffalo again. Listening to the broadcast and reading the postgame quotes, I think they humiliated themselves.San Fran Falcon wrote:Yes, we have a mental advantage, but another re-match with OU does concern me a bit.
