Browns Waive Hybl
The Browns were very busy today. They made several roster moves. Someone had previously asked about Nate Hybl (the orevious practice squad QB), and it turns out he was waived today. That must be quite a blow to that young man. A story ran in the Cleveland PD today that mentioned this may be his chance to make a good impression on someone. I guess he had not made to many good impressions on the Browns coaching staff.

Yeah, Mr. Garcia - hailed, you'll remember, as some sort of savior when he was signed - will be unceremoniously released when the season's over. Josh will bide his time as #7 for the remainder of this season, but #5 will be available soon enough.TG1996 wrote:He's got three weeks to go as J7... I'm under the impression there are some rumblings that #5 might be available REALLY soon.
Just in time, too. my two Browns authentic jerseys are white #82 Newsome ('80s era) and brown #92 Brown (new Browns). So I'm in the market for a new authentic. Looks like #5 might be the call!

Yeah, if Garcia doesn't fall apart by next year, he's gone. Unless the Browns get a west-coast offensive minded coaching staff next year (not gonna happen in Cleveland), he's just not going to work in any other system.
I'll be awaiting the RETURN of J5! 8)
