PD MAC Tournament preview
3. Depth: Because of injuries, the BG men have played with a short bench down the stretch of the season. Three games in three days might be more than the Falcons can handle.
This is the one that concerns me. We really could use a healthy Knight back if for no other reason than to keep guys fresh. 3 games in 3 days can be tough on even the deepest teams. We did it earlier in the year but we had a rotation with more players in it back then.
I especially worry about OP. He's been far better of late, but when he gets tired he has a tendency to foul himself out of minutes. We absolutely NEED his presence in the middle of the zone we've been playing. Let's hope all that conditioning work has paid off for this run.
I think we've got the heart and the defensive intensity to pull this off, but we need to keep our legs fresh.
Saw the paper today, cool picture of Breske, Goldsberry, Moten, Clements and Miller on the front of the sports page. JD Pooley of the Sentinel took a nice staged photo.
The PD hasn't done a great job previewing the MAC Tourney in the last couple years, but this year's was pretty good I have to say. Livingston and especially Elton Alexander weren't as overly biased toward Akron and Kent as they normally are, which was refreshing to see.
Should be a fun basketball week deep at The Q.

I wish we could have Larson back just to take some of that pressure off OP.hammb wrote: This is the one that concerns me.
