You're missing the point. Clawson and Elko are friends too. Maybe Elko approached Clawson with the idea. And Clawson has to look out for himself anyway. He's trying to put together the best staff he can. If that means hiring a friend away from another friend, so be it.

I know both Clawson and Huesman and Clawson has acted completely out of character! You guys on this board don't have a clue!! One year at U of Tenn., being blamed for all their faults has scarred your new head coach!

Stonewall, I honestly don't see what the problem is here? So Clawson wants to hire someone he knows, who he believes in. How's that bad? So they're "friends." What's that have to do with anything? Half the coaches in college football are friends with each other, or have coached with each other at one time or another. You say you know these coaches, so...enlighten us! What don't we have a clue about here?? And how does his year at UT scar him?
