As usual, well said 1987. I would think that most Falcon Fans would agree.
I mean, you can talk about our corners not getting toasted, or the OL giving Omar time to throw, but you distilled it down well to the "keys of the game."
Can't wait to see you and Noah in AL. We'll have our Santa hats on, out trolling for beads!

"Run, Forrest, Run ... Yes, DeAngelo Williams is that good. Just look at the numbers - 1,828 yards, 6.2 yards per carry, 21 TDs. He also managed to catch 17 passes. For a little perspective, he's run for more yards than the entire Falcons team and has just as many rushing TDs as all Falcons combined
I know you probably didn't intend this, but it almost sounds like your saying DeAngelo is head and shoulders above BG's rushing attack. When in fact, when you compare PJ stats to Williams stats, Pope averages the same yards per carry (6.3 yards) as Williams. The difference between Memphis and BG is dedication to the run. Williams had twice as many carries as PJ. If you project PJ with as many opportunites as Williams got this year, then you see that PJ would have 1948 yrds and 26 rushing TDs. Pretty even numbers for a projection. I just think its a little misleading to say he's run for more yards than the entire Falcon team (2 yard more net yards) without taking into account that Pope had half as many rushes as Williams did.

always ... thanks for the comments. we'll be looking for you!
UK: You're right. Maybe I needed to clarify that ... I did not intend to disparage P.J. or our running attack. Instead, I wanted to make two points - first, that Memphis is going to run. A lot. And they will run effectively. I also wanted to point out that Williams is, in fact, a great running back. That's not a knock on the Falcons, just a recognition that we're facing a great player (just like Memphis is!).
The reason for the latter is that we, as Falcon fans, sometimes tend to downplay our opponents. I think that's a natural tendency for fans, but it's important to be realistic, too.
