Indiana or Dayton

Post by irs »

Next round after we beat Syracuse, we play either Indiana or Dayton (who beat Oakland 70-55). Who would we rather play and will we host the next game with either?
Roll on BG.

BG beat Dayton last year, but lost to IU. I would like to see them avenge the loss to IU.

I'm gonna guess a BGSU-IU game would be played in Bloomington. I would think we would have a chance to host a game against Dayton -- obviously, it's happened before. Probably depends upon who can guarantee more $$ for the WNIT...

Well, since Oakland hosted Dayton I would say that pretty much means we would get a home game with Dayton...so I would rather play them.

However, Oakland was one of only two teams (the other Maryland) to beat South Dakota State this year, so Dayton must not be all bad.

Don't you think it's possible we would host Indiana, too considering we had a bye and they didn't. Plus I'm not so sure their attendance would be any better than ours.

Indiana also had bye. Indiana and Dayton play at same time on Sunday at BG/Syracuse game. Probably won't know where and who till next day. If WNIT wants attendance, looking at Indiana/MSU game at Indiana, the attendance was only 1,128. BG draws much better. Let's get the win against Syracuse first and then figure this out. Roll along BG

I don't care who BG plays if we beat Syracuse....I wanna see BG win this whole thing. I printed out brackets for both the NIT and WNIT and am following these more than the NCAA's this year.

TOGETHER WE ATTACK!!!!!!!

Priority 1: Beat Syracuse!!

That being said, we have a higher average attendance than either IU or UD. Also, we beat IU here two years ago at Anderson...
