300 Additional Free Student Tickets

Post by murphdogg »

I just got an e-mail from the VP of Student Affairs, saying that "generous friends and alumni have made 300 additional tickets available... for distribution to students"

Looks like the administration is counting on high student turnout. I'm so pumped, the crowd is gonna be nuts!

I wonder about the attendance for this game. We haven't drawn well all year for the midweek games, save two strong crowds against Ball State and Toledo (which not coincidentally were our two strongest opponents). I wonder if this game will be a great crowd because of the opponent, or if the normal Thursday night activities (classes, group meetings, other campus activities) will keep the number down.

By the way, I forgot to mention that the tickets are available at the information desk in the BTSU, not at the ticket office in AA

For someone who has never been a student here, you have some nerve.

However, I have decided to provide some simple math for you that might be easier to understand...2 degrees from BGSU > 0 degrees from BGSU.

Also, I'm currently on my 7.5th semester and will be done in 6 weeks. More simple math...7.5 < 10.

Nice attempt at a joke though. I believe the term FAIL, which is used quite frequently these days, applies here to what you tried to do.

It was a simple joke not meant to offend but to mildy poke fun at the fact that you've seemingly have been on campus forever, not meant to make people think your too dumb to graduate on time or whatever you assumed I was making a joke of. Much like a certain orange wigged Anderson Animal who's actually graduated recently but it seems like he's been here for eons as well. Good grief , take a chill pill. :? Plain and simply I didn't realize you were still a student here. That's great that your getting undergraduate degree. Kudos.

A - You still don't get it. He is getting his Masters now. He is already done with the Bachelors degree.

B - Friends joke with friends. Are you two friends?

C - The word is "you're". It's a contraction. Use it.[/b]

I'm in that boat too. And I believe the "son of a...!" were the exact words that came out of my mouth too when I saw the email that there were more free tickets made available tomorrow. Oh well.

And to think, a simple smiley face at the end could have defused this situation. Like this :D . Although I think the emoticons  and  would apply more to where this conversation is currently at
