Captains for 2009/2010?
Captains for 2009/2010?
Anybody have picks for next year? Who will be joining Page? My guess would be Solway.

Not sure of the odds of it happening with either, but I wouldn't mind seeing Boyd or Bailen named a captain. Boyd works his tail off, started picking up his production a little, and is a good guy as well.
If he stays on his current track, I could see Bailen as a captain the year after for sure.

I agree Bailen could be the cap't down the road, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's not around long enough to fill the role. I'm not saying that off of anything I've heard, just what I've observed after a solid freshman seasonPeregrinner wrote:Not sure of the odds of it happening with either, but I wouldn't mind seeing Boyd or Bailen named a captain. Agree also! Bailen would be a great captain in his Jr. year. Also agree he's a great player and could leave early in his Jr. year. Especially if next season is at least as good for him.rc_ziggy84 wrote:I agree Bailen could be the cap't down the road, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's not around long enough to fill the role. Captain Kyle Page returning captain and the best defenceman on the team means Kyle is as close to an absolute as possibe. Alternate David Soloway the vocal leader on the ice who has the respect of his teammates. Alternate Dan Sexton who is the best offencive player on the team.
Dave Ellett is a hero. A Bowling Green Falcon and a Former Jet and Maple Leaf. What more can a Winnipegger ask for.
