Orange Bowl Prediction Thread
Let hear your predictions and who you want to win.
I think the Sooners will win by at least 2 touchdowns.

As far as you're concerned, I don't care.SoonersEnFuego wrote:Let hear your predictions and who you want to win.

I think gravity will be a persistent factor in our lives. I think blondes will continue to be favored over brunettes. I think heat will continue to battle humidity. I think Jessica Simpson's eclipsing of Britney Spears as a pop icon is a much a cultural statement as an indication of the youth of today's tastes in music.

Not sure why you've received a bit of a "cold shoulder" on this...I want to see OU win, because I do feel USC got a bit of "pity" after last year. But, I hope you understand that our focus has been on the GMAC Bowl for the past few weeks, and we're only about 4 days away from departure to Mobile, via N.Orleans...While the Motor City Bowl was fun last year, this gives us a truer "Bowl experience" in my opinion, with parades, parties, fireworks etc. And we didn't have that in Detroit last year. 8)SoonersEnFuego wrote:Let hear your predictions and who you want to win.

Why is everyone making comments like "I don't really care." You saw the thread title...don't click on it if you don't care about it.
You can't really predict this game though. I mean after the suckeys beat Miami, we all know the National Championship is really decided by the refs. I have a horrible hatred towards USC so I'm going to go with OU winning this game. USC is good, but they haven't played the good teams Oklahoma has...like Bowling Green for example. This leads me to believe OU will win 45-38!

Well when the thread title states Orange Bowl Predictions and people go into it and complain, something needs to be saidFlipper wrote:You like getting bossy with people about the way they post, don't you?

It's that many people replying to this are recalling the posts just before the OU/BG game when the hospitality of the OU fans, from worst to best went something like this....
ignorant and rude: friendly and helpful:
Calisooner,.. Soonersenfuego,... and WAAAAAY over here, all the rest.
I'm pretty sure that has something to do with it
(grrr, that didn't line up the way i wanted it too
Oh well, you get the idea)

This emoticon thing
. There are an integral part of the online communication process. Ignoring them makes you look like an old curmedgeon.
Or worst yet, like, well, a little cuckoo.
It is the age of the emoticon.
Do not disdain them. Instead, embrace them.
. In your hectic world, where you're juggling
so many things, take advantage of their versatility.I'm not trying to start a fight
or some sort of war
, just asking that you give emoticons a chance.Let's face it. Resistance is futile.
You will be assimilated.
