Lauren is tough...and so is Tracy

Miller's post game audio:
"We woke up this morning not knowing if Lauren could play.

We woke up this morning, which the media doesn't realize; we didn't know if Tracy would play. Tracy hurt her ankle in the last game and injured it badly in practice yesterday and was helped off the floor to the training room."

Wow. That is unbelievable. It is amazing how tough these girls are!

Kudos to both. A million times over.

I felt a few more were needed. Wow. I didn't think it was possible to be more impressed with these ladies after this supposed "rebuilding" season, but I have been proven wrong.

I don't think it's possible to overstate how impressive they were this season. I thought I knew this team pretty well, but they continue to blow me away every single week. I'm already pumped for next season!

Tracy did look a little slow today... I was wondering why..

I had noticed that Tracy hurt her ankle in the second half of the Syracuse game. She was noticeably wincing and limping at times. And, now to know that she rolled it again in pracitce, amazing. These girls truly are BG warriors.

Pontius and Prochaska are a testament to some stellar recruiting. I'm sure that there are more than a few Big 10 schools that wish they would've pursued Lauren a little harder. Michigan State's coach said as much after the NIT game last year at The Breslin.

Girls playing through painful injuries and sucking it up for the team is all about character and buying into what the coach is selling. Those two playing hurt in that game is another good reflection on Miller's coaching.

I wonder if Dave Clawson is taking notes?
