Brandon Speaking in the Past Tense - The Blade Today

Post by LakelandRocket »

"The landscape of college football has changed. [Schools] are firing guys after two or three years. If administrators are going to be trigger-happy on coaches, coaches need to take care of themselves."

Brandon said he receives solid support from BG's administration. And he said he won't forget that his success isn't the product of his work alone.

Sounds like Scott Peterson.

Dude, you really aren't that retarded, are you?

Did it ever occur to you that he is saying that he appreciates the support that he gets from our administration and will continue to be appreciative of it? Sounds to me like he's saying he isn't going to stab our administration in the back and bounce out the first time someone flashes a wad at him.

You know, kind of like he did to UNLV...

What do they make your degrees out of up there, anyhow? Toilet paper? 8)
From the halls of ivy...

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan

Past tense not found.

Won't = will not = not past tense in this context. Also, if you want to analyze it that much, note he didn't use "wasn't" instead of "isn't". Quit trying to stirr stuff up, you hoser.

BGSU Falconz, that has to be the best signature ever. Graphic. Makes me hungry.

Lakeland, with due respect, I can't interpret anything in that quote which indicates anything more than the intended message: he appreciates the backing of the BG administration.

Stutz would probably say the same thing, because he has similar backing from UT.

Read more. Interpret less.

I'm suprised no one has gone off on you for using the word retarded yet...
