Attendance At Stroh Center

Post by MacGuy »

Wondering what fans think about how the new building will effect men's basketball attendance.

Would an average of 3,000 be good? 4,000? Regular sellouts?

THE BUILDING IS AT LEAST 2 YEARS AWAY! Maybe more...

you'd hope the sucker would sell out every game

It will probably be sold out on the first night, and then attendance will slowly decline to the levels they are at now

I can see the first season sold out, or close to it. Hopefully it really helps attendance for at least 3 or 4 years??

How could that possibly be watchable from that far away? If you're watching it on a jumbotron you may as well be watching it at home or in a bar....

We weren't that far away, it's a panoramic photo using several shots from a wide-angle lens. It makes it look like we were farther than we were. "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear"

The game was easily watchable on the court from where we were stitting.

Man, this is why they need to build the Stroh Center with 73,000 seats. 5,000 just isn't going to cut it.

I heard you were the next donor to step up to make that happen!

I thought this was the artists rendering of what the Stroh Center will actually look like. Now that the Administration got the student vote, build it even bigger than they told them they were. You have to give them a reason to cry now.

I definitely think we should build an arena that can hold more than twice the population of the city it's built in
