Predictions for the GMAC Bowl

Post by thewebboy »

With the game less than a week away, I thought I would take it upon myself to start this thread.

My Prediction:

BGSU 45
MEMPHIS 24

I think Omar shines in the national spotlight, 300+ yds. and lets say 4 TDs. Pope should get +100 yds. Tiger defense just doesn't appear to be that strong.
I think our defense will give up a lot of yards to RB DeAngelo Williams, the same way we gave up +200 yards to NW RB Jason Wright last year in the MCB (we won, but man did he run all over us). But I think our offense will just be too much for the Tigers to handle.

I should say:

Memphis 42
BG 28

because it seems like every time all of us pick BG to win a big game, then we lose, but......I think this time will be a little different:

BG 52
Memphis 45

They can't stop us, we can't stop them, but we get the ball last and, thus, win the game.

Sorry, but I am lacking confidence in our ability to stop DeAngelo.

Memphis 38
Falcons 27

We may not be able to stop Deangelo...but i hope the Tiger's D has fun trying to stop Omar, Chuck, Steve, P.J, Cole.....the list doesnt end

I see the score being something like:
BG-35
Memphis-27

Time of Possesion
BG- 12:05
Memphis-47:55

What i'm getting at is that Memphis can run the ball all day and work the clock...but we'll just score quick...I'm also seeing a pick by Keon somewhere in the mix and TJ crackin Deangelo to force a fumble

Memphis' running game scares me too. But Omar is too much.

BG 52
Memphis 42

BG punts once.
Memphis punts 3 times.

wow.....well, I say:

Falcons 48, Tigers 41. Way too much offense and not nearly enough defense.

GO BG!!!!!

A defensive struggle! Or should I say struggling defenses.

BG 49
Memphis 35

or could be

BG 6
Memphis 3

Heck, I don't know. BG over Memphis by some points.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and call a lower score, since these things seem to ALWAYS go against what everyone predicts...

I'll say..

Memphis 27
Bowling Green 23

I'm probably way, WAY off on that one....lol...but ah well, it's gonna be a fun night in Mobile...

If the wind is blowing out of the southwest:

BGSU - 59
Elvis College - 38

If Tom Numnutz eats a donut while watching on TV:

BGSU - 59
Elvis College - 38

If Urban Meyer lies about his team when talking to his wife while watching on TV:

BGSU - 59
Elvis College - 38

If Coach D. invites his team to his house to talk about the refs from the IUPUFW game while watching it on TV:

BGSU - 59
Elvis College - 38

If none of this happens while the game is being played:

BGSU 55 -
Elvis College - 35
