The Doyt Makes It Into NCAA '10

They took their time, but they got it right. Look for the water tower and the lights from Carter Park to the south.

Is this only in the PS3 version?

If so this might push me over the edge to get the PS3. . .

It will be on the 360 version too, I'm sure.

Well, I will finally buy this game again. It's been a couple of years...

Also, not to sound whiny or anything, but couldn't they have thrown the band in the Sebo center? They always have a band in the crowd artwork, and in the big stadia it's usually in the right place. It would have taken 2 minutes of work to put the band in the end zone bleachers.... Oh well. At least we finally have the Doyt!

Haven't been to a game in a while, but doesn't the BG logo at the 50 yard line face the west stands? I think they've got it upside down.

The team is on the wrong sidelines too. . .

And no Falcon Club Pavillion or Bookstore Tent. . .

But overall the SEBO looks great and the surroundings are spot on!

I would not expect the Falcon Club Pavilion or Bookstore Tent, because of the method EA uses to render these stadiums. They actually send a photographer out to take high res images of the stadiums from all over the inside and outside to render the stadium as closely as possible (which is why it has taken so many years for the likes of BG to get a new stadium in the game). They usually do that work during the offseason so I would not expect temporary structures like the Falcon Club thing to be implemented.

However, I am very surprised that they screwed up the direction of the logo. They must put the logos at midfield through another means than how the stadium is rendered. I'd even go so far as to bet it is tied to the sideline that the home team is on. I bet they have the logos set to always face the home team's sideline, and since that is reversed on our stadium it's screwed up the midfield logo too.

The game doesn't ship until July, so I bet if you sent them an e-mail about this it could be corrected before release.

Still, you have to admit, imperfections aside, it is an amazing thing to see.

I would think the logo is normally pointed to the side the "primary" TV cameras are placed.
