Interim tag removed

I just heard on the radio that the interim has been removed and Dan Bylsma was officailly named the Pens head coach.

Congrats, well deserved. Unfortunately, The Pens are the exact opposite of the Steelers in letting a head coach due their job. Hopefully, the Pens will leave him alone and he will be there for many years to come.

Was just coming on to post this. Everybody down here is basically in love with Coach Disco. Shero said it was the easiest decision he ever had to make. 18-3-4 and a 1st round dusting of the hated Flyers is a pretty strong case.

Nothing known yet about the contract other than it's for multiple years. Congrats, coach!

Congratulations to Todd, I think that he is the official head coach of the Baby Pens.
I hope you both get humongous contracts.

My wife and I were watching the game on Saturday. She wanted me to get the Key out from the year I graduated (the same as Dan). She wanted to know what he looked like.

He looks the same as he did in 92, except his glasses. There is a Seinfeld episode, where George picks out lady glasses. This reminds me of what Dan was wearing in his yearbook picture.
