1. Haynes is a 2010 recruit
2. Is it possible Knight does not have a schollie this year?
3. Goins or Groves did not get a schollie as was expected for them.
4. Calhoun did not qualify.
You've mentioned some interesting things here, I was wondering about some of these as well. Anyone have any further insight?

How sad. Can we actually get some athletic studs that are decent in school so that said stud can actually play for us and contribute?? Good grief.

Let's keep in mind that we know nothing for certain about Calhoun -- everything so far has been purely speculation or hearsay. Or both.

Good point. No point in worrying about something speculative. That's a good way to drive yourself nuts.

From my understanding, DeVon Haynes will be a freshman at BG in 2009. 7.5 blocks is incredible in the Detroit City League.

By my count, we have 14 commitments. However, I vaguely recall something about Goins being a walk-on when he first arrived. Hopefully that is it and the we didn't lose anyone.

Yes, thanks for putting all of that info in one easy to read post!

Personally I think I'm hoping that Zeke Marshall comes in better than advertised, dominates the NCAA, and bolts for the NBA after one season. I just don't want to watch us have to play that kid twice a year for 4 years...
